The sorting algorithms presented here are meant for a joke. They're attempts at writing particularly slow algorithms, or as Andrei Broder and Jorge Stolfi would say: "are in no particular hurry to succeed".
If you're looking to write efficient sorting algorithms, I'd suggest looking elsewhere, but these are fun to look at and play around with!
